I have this solar-powered lamp from Fordeal. These are the lamp's features as you can see, and it comes with this remote.

 

Of course it has power on and off with the remote, and it has dawn mode, 9-hour mode, and 12-hour mode. This dawn mode is sensitive to the absence of sun, it turns on, and when the sun rises it turns off.

And this is the solar panel, we put it in this place so it's at the beginning of sunrise from here until the sun sets and it draws power. So the most important thing is that you put it in a place that's exposed to sunlight as much as possible.

 

Of course it lasts with you, they've done tests on it. Fordeal themselves have done severe tests on it, and it lasted with them up to 15 hours. But in their promotional statement they say 12 hours, however in their tests with them it lasted up to 15 hours.

 

My personal experience, I've put it at my farm as you can see. From dawn, sorry from sunset, meaning approximately 6 PM until the call to Fajr prayer which is at 4. It lasts approximately 10 hours, 11 hours with me, and didn't turn off until the sun rose and then it turned off to charge again.

 

So I find it very very very suitable. You see some solar panels even though this one you see is small, but its efficiency is high I swear to God. Some types of solar power this size and larger, but it's not worth even one riyal. One of the guys has something like this, he has a solar panel. Our kids went to his place, it doesn't last more than 3 hours at most, 3 hours and it turns off. But I see Mashallah its efficiency is very excellent.
