Making Crunchy & Soft Qatayef with Fordeal's Amazing Deep Fryer! 🥞🔥 Ramadan Must-Have!
Hello there!
Qatayef is one of the most famous and delicious recipes for Ramadan, and even outside Ramadan.
Today, I’m making it with you.
It's a wonderful method that gives you crispy Qatayef on the outside and soft on the inside.
Two cups of sifted white flour,
a small cup of semolina,
one tablespoon each of powdered milk,
yeast, sugar, and starch.
Mix all the dry ingredients together.
Then, in a blender, add two cups of warm water,
add the dry ingredients, and mix until the dough reaches this consistency.
I let it rest for about 45 minutes until I made sure it fermented completely.
Then, we cook the Qatayef on medium heat. When you see bubbles as they bake,
you know your dough is perfect.
Place the Qatayef on a clean cloth
and cover it so they don't dry out.
I stuffed some with walnuts and some with cream.
And just like that, our Qatayef is ready.
